We are pleased to announce the OpenClovis Carrier Grade Middleware (CGM) Release 3.0 GA for immediate free download. The OpenClovis CGM is a complete off-the-shelf, standards-aligned manageability and high-availability software solution. Operating system and platform agnostic, OpenClovis CGM version 3.0 is pre-validated for various distributions of Linux as well as leading hardware platforms such as SUN Netra ATCA, Radisys ATCA, HP ATCA, IBM BladeCenter T and WindRiver PNELE. Additionally, OpenClovis offers the most comprehensive and native implementation of Service Availability Forum’s (SAF) Application Interface Specification (AIS) with the Hardware Platform Interface (HPI).

We are delighted to announce a new release of OpenClovis Release 2.2.0SS.1 for immediate free download.

We have added support for several new linux distributions like Debian, Fedora Core6, SUSE 10.1, Ubuntu. This is in addition to the Redhat Enterprise 4 and CentOS OpenClovis already supports. OpenClovis will present a series of one-hour webinars to demonstrate how developers can speed time to market and reduce engineering risk by using open source middleware solutions.

The first online webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at 11am PDT. In this presentation, OpenClovis will demonstrate how platform manageability and high availability can be achieved using off-the-shelf carrier grade hardware and middleware. The program will also cover infrastructure services that help to build redundant, resilient application software components such as checkpointing, location-independent messaging and group membership.
