OpenClovis Carrier-grade Middleware Release 4.0.8 GA is available for download
The following are highlights of new features and enhancements in R4.0:
Newly Supported Platforms: WindRiver PNELE 2.0, QNX 6.4, Cavium Octeon 58xx processor.
Inservice Software Upgrade of OpenClovis ASP: In addition to ISSU of application, in R4.0 added ISSU support of OpenClovis ASP middleware. So ISSU can be applied at user application, OpenClovis middleware or the bundle of both.
Middleware versioning: Added version support to all OpenClovis run-time components, configuration files so ASP can be fully backward and forward compatible to enable ISSU of middleware and application bundles.
SAF compliance: Added SAF compliant Messaging service.
SAF Component cleanup script support R4.0 introduces support to configure cleanup commands for SA-AWARE components using the Openclovis IDE. The cleanup command is invoked by AMF on
component cleanup or abrupt terminations.
System Management Enhancement: Support of net-snmp 5.4.2 and SNMP Traps in 64 Bit architectures
Separate ASP packaging for HA only: In R4.0, ASP can be deployed without any manageability feature components.
Pre-integrated Platform: OpenClovis is support integrated on Radisys 7220 dual Cavium Octeon blades.
