Release 3.1 Available
OpenClovis Carrier-grade Middleware Release 3.1 Release Candidate 1 is available for download.
The following are highlights of new features and enhancements in R3.1:
Additional Platforms:MontaVista Linux Carrier Grade Edition 5.0, Sun Solaris 10, QNX realtime operating system
In-service Software Upgrade (ISSU)
Applications can be upgraded using either Single Step (all at once) or Rolling (inservice) upgrade methodologies. Includes software version/bundle management and automatic distribution (and installation) on nodes.
Dynamic run-time High Availability model update.
With OpenClovis’ dynamic high availability feature, the application can change redundancy model (2N to 3+2 back to 2N for example), be extended to run on new blades, or be reduced to run on fewer blades without affecting existing running applications. In fact, using our new API you can modify any aspect of your SAF HA model dynamically!
SAF API Compliance
SAF compliant software can be linked against OpenClovis libraries without changing a single line of code!
ASP Web Director
A new product, the ASP Web Director, provides cluster management via a web interface and is tightly integrated with ASP release 3.1. This new product is available separately, please contact OpenClovis for demonstration and evaluation. For more information click here
