OpenClovis launches new product - ASP Run-time Director
October 2008, OpenClovis ASP Run-time Director is a fully integrated HA, application and platform management solution fully integrated with OpenClovis ASP middleware.
Release 2.2 beta officially supports RHEL 4 and RH 9 for IA32 and Yellow Dog for PPC.
Unofficially, I know it works with gentoo and a 2.6 kernel but a one line change to the IOC compilation is needed. (The location of the generated kernel config file modversions.h seems to be different under gentoo.) Things also work under WindRiver PNE linux and MontaVista CGE 4.x.
I personally haven't tried Fedora/Ubuntu/Suse/Debian/Slackware/Others, may be some else can answer that.
The current beta release supports Linux 2.6 on IA32 platform.
Will any distribution work? I am specifically interested in gentoo and fedora core.
The configure script says there are options for cross building, how do I do that?
Thanks in advance.
