Building WiMax ( Wireless Broadband -- 802.16e ) product on top of ATCA platform

WiMax prototype can be built on top of ATCA platform. This requires implementation of existing WiMax stage 3 standards. WiMax related work need to be built from the scratch. Remaining work can be derived from open source. Since ATCA platform is carrier grade platfrom, applications like WiMax ( wireless broadband) is suitable for this kind of plotforms.

basic model of WiMax can be done if 4 to 6 people are there for development We can eliminate all the optional things and go for basic model. I am ready to be a member of this project.

I guess building Wimax standards from scratch might be too much for this community. However I think integrating pieces of the solution like quagga, open radius would be good idea.
