OpenClovis tackles a major void in testing of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) building blocks that comprise of both hardware and software elements for distributed computing platform.

As Telecom Equipment Manufacturers (TEMS) and Network Equipment Providers (NEP) explore and move towards standardized, Service Availability Forum, middleware with COTS building blocks, they are faced with system integration and testing of their system with value add applications and services.   Engineering organizations are challenged with having to develop test procedures and processes for their middleware components and their applications, as an end to end system that, can be successfully deployed with a known quality and confidence. They have to ensure that real customer use cases and fully integrated application ready system has been fully tested by their test teams within the organization.  This usually is a significant effort on their part to integrate components that they have little or no involvement in developing and can be a major increase on their R&amp;D costs and an increased time for product shipments resulting in delayed revenue. OpenClovis has recognized this need through working with new equipment vendors, as well as tier-1 TEM’s and provides a very comprehensive solution for both COTS building blocks and application software.
