Do you have a threading model for AIS compatible dispatching?

Hi,

How is it possible to write an AMF component that wants to control the dispatching of callbacks using saAmfDispatch? In the OpenClovis ASP User Guide you briefly write about two threading models supported (pages 137-138) but in fact in both models the thread in which AMF callbacks is invoked is owned by the platform. Thus, both models seem to exclude the possibility of an application thread using saAmfDispatch() to control the invocation of the callback itself.

Hi József,
As of now openClovis ASP does not support the threading model where the component controls the call backs thru saAmfDispatch. It will be part of the future relaeases.

And another - clarifying - question: I was talking about saAmfDispatch, but I guess that your answer applies to the other services as well (saClmDispatch, saCkptDispatch, etc.) right? I.e. they are not supported right now...

Hi József,
This should be avaialable in Q3 of 2007.
BTW as u rightly guessed the dispatch model is not supported by any of the openClovis services
