COR performance benchmarks

I was wondering if the COR has been benchmarked. I am in the middle of evaluating DBE and middleware solutions and could use some input as to the performance of the COR. Specifically, I’m looking for transactions per second in a HA (twoN) deployment. The benchmark tests I have written for DBE and other middleware simply change one data element as quickly as possible and give me a real-time execution result over x iterations. Has this type of benchmark been performed on COR, and if so where might the results be?

If not, perhaps a simple COR throughput example could be included in the free evaluation download.

I realize that benchmarking is HIGHLY dependent upon hardware and environment, but some numbers (qualified with how they were obtained) would be nice.
